Why a room like this
Away from the performance, and the pitch.
Founders spend much of their working lives performing: for investors, for their teams, for the market. Harder to find is a trusted room where women building companies can think out loud, compare notes honestly and be understood without selling anything.
Founders at the River is that room, held in the house on the Thames: a community with the discretion to talk about what is actually happening, and the generosity to help.

Founder Fridays
Each month, a Friday for founders only, with small peer circles for the conversations that need fewer people in the room.
Obsera
A private way of understanding your own capacity while you build. Investors never see individual Obsera or participant data.
Salons
Evenings with researchers, experienced founders and corporate leaders, around one table.
Introductions
Carefully curated introductions to aligned capital, when they are useful, and only with both parties' permission.
Stays and experiences
Preferential Club stays and Observatory experiences, with a founder residency or overnight each season.
The rhythm
A rhythm, not a programme.
- Monthly
- Founder Friday. Founders only.
- Every six to eight weeks
- The Observatory Table: twelve to sixteen founders, angels, family offices, researchers or corporate leaders, carefully curated.
- Quarterly
- An Observatory briefing on what is being learned and built.
- Seasonally
- A founder residency or overnight experience.
Founder-only spaces stay protected. Investors do not come to every Founder Friday, introductions happen only with both parties’ permission, and there are no formal pitches around the table.
Peer-stewarded
Kept by the people in it.
The founding cohort sets the tone. After it, new Fellows join when two existing Fellows endorse them, so the room grows by trust rather than by marketing.

How to join
Come to a Founder Friday first.
Founders at the River is not another membership, and it has no separate price. Founders join through the Observatory’s In-Person Founding Fifty, where Founder Fellow is a pathway within it.
The best beginning is a Friday in the house, before anyone asks you to join anything.
